The Duke of Wellington, or perhaps ‘The Duke’ or ‘The Welly’ as it is often referred to, is, in every sense, a truly unique venue in the area. It successfully blends great beer with fantastic live music at various times throughout the week and represents a special place for most artists, not only because of its long history of supporting live acts, but because of its appreciative audience...oh, and the ability to quench the thirst on some pretty good beer.
